Student Organization Fairs

The Center for Student Involvement (CSI) hosts two major involvement fairs each academic year. These events are opportunities for student organizations to recruit new members, showcase their mission, and increase visibility on campus.

Up the Orgs - August 28; 4-6pm - KU Central Mall

  • Held on the first Friday of Classes in the fall semester on the Central Mall, Up the Orgs is the University’s largest student involvement fair. It features hundreds of recognized organizations, campus departments, and local businesses. This energetic outdoor event allows organizations to set up tables, distribute promotional materials, and connect directly with thousands of first-year and returning students looking to get involved.

Spring Up! - January 15, 4-6pm - throughout Kennedy Union

  • Held early in the spring semester inside Kennedy Union, Spring Up! serves as the mid-year involvement fair. While slightly smaller in scale than the fall event, it provides an excellent opportunity to recruit transfer students, first-year students who wanted to settle into their academics before joining a group, or current students looking to try something new.
