If you are interested in creating a student organization, some categories require communication with and approval from an additional campus partner. Please contact the Center for Student Involvement (studentorgs@udayton.edu) for further information and complete the Potential Organization Interest Form in 1850.
Potential Student Organization Requirements:
- Organizations must meet all eligibility requirements outlined in the Official Recognition of Undergraduate Student Organizations Policy.
- Only current UD students may submit the Potential Organization Interest Form.
- Must be submitted the semester you intend to become recognized, during the submission window.
- Potential organizations should be unique from any other already-recognized student organization.
- All organizations must follow UD policies regarding anti-discrimination and anti-hazing.
- All organizations, potential or recognized, must adhere to UD's policies and guidelines.
- All founding members must complete the Anti-Hazing training provided by the university.
Starting a student organization at UD requires working with and following guidelines from CSI. Any new Greek-letter organizations must be affiliated with a national/international organization. No local/independent Greek-letter organizations are permitted on campus (unless established prior to August 23, 2021).
