Deposits
All income that is generated (for example, through dues or fundraising events) must be deposited in the established student organization account within 1 business day of collection.
- Funds can be deposited at the Center for Student Involvement in Kennedy Union 241 (Monday through Friday from 10:00am - 2:00pm or by requesting an appointment through studentorgsmoney@udayton.edu).
- Funds not deposited through the established procedure cannot be guaranteed trackable by CSI.
Student organizations wishing to collect funds electronically should contact the Center for Student Involvement to explore available methods of online and electronic funds collection. CSI does daily deposits of funds collected online.
- Organizations can set up a store on 1850 organization page to allow for credit card purchases.
- Touchnet stores can be created for organizations selling large quantities of singular items, email studentorgsmoney@udayton.edu to learn more.
Student organizations who utilize unapproved methods of funds collection (Venmo, PayPal, GoFundMe, etc.) jeopardize recognition with the University.
