Hazing Prevention
Hazing, in all of its forms, is incongruent with the University of Dayton's Catholic and Marianist identity and values. As part of its commitment to providing a safe and healthy campus environment for all students, faculty, staff and visitors, the University of Dayton prohibits all forms of hazing.
In the interest of fostering a healthy and safe community, and to ensure compliance with both Collin's Law, Ohio's Anti-Hazing Act, and federal anti-hazing legislation, the Stop Campus Hazing Act (SCHA), students, employees, and advisers who participate in student groups and organizations must complete a hazing prevention training module to educate them on hazing awareness and prevention. This training will cover definitions of hazing, awareness, prevention, intervention, and reporting.

Hazing Policy
Student organization members, officers, advisers, and potential members should review the University's Hazing Policy. This policy outlines the definition of hazing, the policy prohibiting all forms of hazing regardless of location, reporting and enforcement, and available training.
Campus Hazing Transparency Report
The Campus Hazing Transparency Report is updated twice per year, on January 1 and August 1, and details all findings of responsibility for hazing by student organizations over the last five years.
