Membership Eligibility

Any currently registered student at the University of Dayton may be a member of our recognized student organizations. Active membership within these organizations is defined by the individual organizations and recruitment periods for organizations are decided by the leadership of the organization or by university guidelines. Student organization leaders should keep record of membership for their organization.

Membership in some groups is open to students of affiliated organizations/institutions as stated in their individual constitutions and with permission and support from the Center for Student Involvement. Only members of the University academic community are eligible for participation in a student organization unless written permission is received from Student Development.
