Date-Based Event Prohibitions

Prohibited Dates Event Type Why?
Study Days, Weekends before Exams, Exam Weeks All Events Students should focus on academic responsibilities during final exam periods.
Stander Symposium & Celebration of the Arts All Events Students should focus on academic responsibilities during alternative days of learning.
St. Patrick's Day, Halloween, and any alternative holiday dates identified by the student body Events with Guests On-campus events on these days may only be open to University members (no outside guests) for enhanced safety and security.
St. Patrick's Day, Halloween, and any alternative holiday dates identified by the student body Events with Alcohol No events with alcohol will be permitted on these dates, regardless of location.
Monday - Thursday Events with Alcohol Events with alcohol are only permitted on Fridays and Saturdays and must be approved by CSI. CSI reserves the right to place additional restrictions during specified times.
First two weeks of the semester Events with Alcohol This period allows organizations to meet the expectations of Event Management Training
