Student-Led Bands & Live Performers
The University of Dayton student community has a vibrant, student-driven culture of live music, including student-led bands, DJs, and live performers.
The Band and Live Performer Recognition process serves to champion student talent by focusing on leadership and community responsibility. This process proactively equips student musicians and DJs with the risk management skills, safety protocols, and crowd control strategies needed to host successful events, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for both the performers and their peers.
Procedures for band & performer recognition will be available prior to the start of the 2026-27 academic year.
Student Organization Events
Organizations hosting student-led bands and/or live performers must ensure the performers have completed the recognition process prior to booking.
