Chosen Name Policy

Approved in 2019, the Chosen Name Policy enables students, faculty, staff, and alumni who identify themselves by a name other than their legal name to use a chosen name for University records and systems that do not require use of a legal name.

LGBTQ+ Student Services

The LGBTQ+ Student Services program connects students with resources and support in an effort to foster a campus environment where all students, including those who identify as lesbian, gay, bi, trans*, queer, questioning, or otherwise (LGBTQ+), feel welcomed, respected, safe, and valued as full members of the University of Dayton community.

Counseling Center

We care deeply about the mental health of our members. The Counseling Center is free for students to go to and talk with the counselors who are available.
