Pillars

The following three pillars represent the purpose and values of the organization.

1. FRATERNITY - Spectrum defines Fraternity as the bond between its members founded on a network of mutual support and solidarity. Through this pillar, Spectrum seeks to respect and celebrate any and all identities within the UD community.

2. ACTIVISM - Spectrum's definition of Activism is the interest in and action taken for LGBTQ+ rights and representation. Spectrum embodies this pillar by framing many of its discussions, meetings, and events around relevant, modern issues in the LGBTQ+ community.

3. VISIBILITY - For Spectrum, Visibility refers to the recognition of its members within a safe space that accepts and validates their identities. Spectrum actively seeks to create an atmosphere that welcomes UD's LGBTQ+ students, giving them the opportunity to be seen, heard, and sympathized with by one another.
