Information Sessions

All candidates are required to attend ONE information session to be eligible to run for SGA office or review the elections information packet. See below for sessions.

Candidacy Contract

All candidates must officially declare their candidacy and receive SGA approval prior to campaigning. This form is due no later than Wed. February 18 at 4:30pm.

Campaign Team Member Contract

Candidates must identify members of their campaign team.  All campaign team members must submit a contract agreeing to the terms of the SGA elections handbook.

Candidacy Forms Approved

Candidates can begin making SGA-approved purchases (see Finances) when the contract is approved.

SGA candidates are afforded a budget for campaign-related expenses. Expenses should be paid by SGA as reimbursement may not be an option.

Campaigning & Marketing

Campaigning begins Tuesday, February 24 at 8:00am and ends at the conclusion of voting. All campaign materials, including social media posts, must be approved by the SPECC prior to distribution.

Endorsements

All endorsements must be approved by the SPECC prior to public announcement. Endorsement forms must be submitted by the student/organization and not by the candidate themselves.

Tuesday, March 3 at 8:00am through Thursday, March 5 at 8:00pm

Cast Your Ballot

SGA Fall Retreat

All members of SGA are required to attend the SGA Fall Retreat on September 19-20, 2026.

Executive members must attend Senate on Sundays at 5:00pm throughout their elected term.
