Student Organization Funding

SGA offers funding through two distinct processes. The primary funds allocation process is the Fall and Spring Funding Week. During this process, organizations are eligible to apply for up to $1,000.00 in organization funding. Funds are distributed equally based on the number of applications, SGA funding priorities, and available funds.

Additional or unexpected funding can be applied for through the Special Request Process. This process is run through the SGA Senate.

SGA Funding exists to:

  • Lessen the financial burden of co-curricular involvement for undergraduate students
  • Engage students in the process of student governance
  • Promote involvement through programs that benefit the undergraduate student body
  • Allow organizations to connect meaningfully with others
  • Promote personal and professional development to advance the campus community

SGA also provides funding through the New Student Organization Grant process and to individuals through the Student Engagement Grant process.
