Claiming Funds Awarded By SGA

Once awarded, you can view the status of your request through your portal in 1850.

  • SGA funds must be claimed within two weeks following the event / purchase for which they are awarded. No funds may be claimed after two weeks following the last day of classes for the given semester.
  • Funds not utilized and claimed through 1850 by the deadline will be forfeited and returned to the SGA budget for re-distribution.
  • Organizations can only utilize SGA funding towards approved budget request items; funds cannot be used for purposes other than what was applied for and approved.
  • SGA offers many ways to claim funds awarded to student organizations. Many expenditures are NOT ELIGIBLE for reimbursement; SGA must make the initial purchase.
  • PLEASE NOTE that SGA does not distribute funds to club accounts before an event/purchase.
