Catering and Food

There are three ways to purchase food, each depending on the location where the food will be consumed.

1. KU Catering is the exclusive caterer for events in Kennedy Union
2. America to Go is the exclusive service used for all other catering and restaurant purchases for events elsewhere on campus
3. Groceries may be purchased with SGA funds for other food needs.  Gordon Food Service is the preferred campus grocer.

KU Catering

If you would like to order catering for a campaign event from KU catering:

1. Visit the catering menu located at https://udayton.edu/diningservices/campusdining/cateringservices/cateringmenu.php
2. Make any necessary space reservations through the Center for Student Involvement
3. Complete the "Candidate Financial Request Form" and SGA staff will assist in placing and paying for the order

America to Go

If you would like to order catering for a campaign event from any other restaurant, you may want to reach out to Chris Fishpaw to help you through the process.  If you'd like to explore on your own:

1. Visit runway at https://go.udayton.edu/runway
2. Click the America to Go icon under "Other Suppliers"
3. Shop the site and build your cart.  Pay attention to the specific policies related to each restaurant, including delivery fees and timelines
4. Once you have built your cart, click "Checkout."
5. You will be taken back to Runway, where you should see your cart.
6. Click "Assign Cart"
7. Toggle the radio button to "Search for an assignee"
8. Click "Search for an assignee"
9. In the "Username" field, type cfishpaw1 and search
10. Next to "Fishpaw, Chris" click "select"
11. In the box "Note To Assignee:" type "SGA Elections" followed by your name
12. Click "Assign"
13. Complete the "Candidate Financial Request Form"

Groceries

If you would like to purchase snacks at the grocery store:

1. Complete the "Candidate Financial Request Form" and SGA staff will assist in securing the Gordon Food Service card or University Purchasing Card
