Science Team

Our science team serves to guide the data collection process that our rover undergoes at the competition. By conducting research, preliminary testing, and writing procedures, our science team uses the tools available on our rover to best achieve their goals.

Past tasks include kerosene detection using an evaporating agent and ozone detection. Looking ahead, we will be attempting to utilize sieve trays and microscopy for small particle analysis in the search of life on the red planet.
