"Let's get more connected to campus!"

I want to make sure that every commuter student feels connected to campus. Being an out-of-state commuter, I know the challenges commuter students have faced in the past 18 months. There are so many ways we can have our commuter students more active on campus. I plan on getting more resources for commuter students to make their stay on campus feel more at home. I would like to find a way to have more commuter students meet each other as well as students living on campus through events hosted at the University. As a commuter student, I also know that office hours for professors are at times commuter students are not on campus, so I will try and find a way to see how commuter students can be accommodated anyway academically. Commuter students deserve to feel just as appreciated as students that live on campus!
