Hello, my name is Elisabeth, but most know me as Lilli. I am running for senior class representative because I love UD and believe I would do a good job being a voice to the SGA committee that considers our senior class's opinions. Being senior representative, I would have access to the procedures and tools needed to create actual, beneficial change that students are actually asking for. Not only am I tolerant and flexible, but I am also curious and motivated, and I believe these are beneficial traits that will help me manage the role and our collective goals. Vote for me for senior class representative 2026-27, and I will try my best to act as the best correspondent for our class to SGA, faculty, and security.
As senior class representative, I hope to accomplish three things. First, I intend to increase senior class members' voices, highlighting their importance by active tabling and discussion. This should help create a system that includes real student opinions when making real decisions within student government. Second, I intend to decrease tensions between student music organizations and evening performances on campus housing. Clear communication and mutual respect are values I hold dearly, and I want to bring them into productive conversations as senior class representative with faculty, administration, and security. Lastly, I believe a pop-up Peace Garden in the new open field next to KU and behind Heritage would be an opportunity for students from multiple disciplines to express their work and skills. The theme, as mentioned in the title, would center on the conversation of peace and what it means within the US. this would be a collaborative, flexible project that may display art, research papers, and more.
The experiences that will help me be successful in this role include my involvement in an interdisciplinary extracurricular schedule, participating in programs with different groups of students interested in different things. This includes Co-Pilots, Model UN, active participation in a yoga and pilates group fitness class, being part of the band scene here at UD, participating in the Rally for Peace Spring 2026, and having worked at UDIT. This will help me represent the senior student body because I value the diversity it represents, and I want to do a good job. Additionally, I participated in an international program this summer (2026) in which I was honored as valedictorian. Following this, I was asked to speak at the closing ceremony, a vital experience that will help me as senior class representative. This is because I had to consider not only how the program was for myself, but how it impacted every other student, and formulate that into a speech that pertained to everyone. Additionally, I have been a part of an interdisciplinary extracurricular schedule, participating in programs that each have different groups of student interested in different things. My involvements on campus include: - Model UN: Treasurer for the 2026-2027 year, Member since Fall 2025 - Co-Pilots: Peer Advisor since Fall 2024, Event Coordinator Spring 2026 - Up & Up: Co-President for the 2026-2027 year, General Member since Fall 2024 - Live music scene since Fall 2023: Drummer and now Singer.
Last year, I was a Junior Class Representative, and I loved making an impact on my peers and the UD community. I would love the opportunity to represent my class again and contribute to student success and well-being.
I hope to advocate for changes that my constituents communicate to me and use those preferences to guide my decision-making.
I am a former member of SGA, am currently founding a Pre-law honors society, and have held various leadership roles in high school and college.

I am running for SGA again because I genuinely enjoy representing students and ensuring their voices are heard. From my previous experience in SGA, I have learned how important it is to listen to different perspectives and advocate for issues that affect students across campus. I want to continue being someone students feel comfortable coming to with their concerns, ideas, or experiences. As I enter my senior year, I also want to use what I have learned from my time at UD to help create positive changes and make students feel more connected and supported within our campus community.
My platform focuses on building a stronger connection between students and SGA while ensuring all students feel heard and represented. I want students to be more aware of what SGA is doing, the resources available to them, and how they can bring their concerns forward. I also want to focus on creating more opportunities for students from different backgrounds and organizations to connect and feel included on campus. Overall, I hope to make SGA feel more approachable and create a space where students know that their opinions and experiences matter.
My previous experience in SGA has best prepared me for this role. As a junior representative, I have learned how to listen to students' concerns, understand different perspectives, and advocate for what matters to our campus community. I have also served on the Mental Health Committee and Judicial Review Board, which have allowed me to become more involved in issues that directly impact students. Outside of SGA, my experience as a Student Ambassador and teaching assistant for UDI 180 has strengthened my communication and leadership skills. These experiences have taught me how to connect with different people, be a resource for others and represent the UD community in a positive way.
On campus, I am involved in the Student Government Association, where I have served as a junior representative and as a member of the Mental Health Committee. I am also a Student Ambassador, Social Chair for Phi Beta Chi Communications Fraternity, and Public Relations Director for the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). I have also served as a teaching assistant for UDI 180 through the Office of Learning Resources. Being involved in these different areas has allowed me to connect with students across campus while continuing to grow my leadership and communication skills.
