AVIATE Alignment: COMMUNITY LIVING
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., dreamed of an America where people would “not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” Each year, on the third Monday of January we honor his life and legacy. Anniversaries present important opportunities to teach about the history of the civil rights movement and the ongoing effects of racial discrimination in America. To celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr., Week, participate in this interactive, self-guided opportunity to learn more about his life, legacy and reflect on connecting his message to today's struggles for social justice in the United States.
