AVIATE Alignment: AUTHORSHIP

This Event is only open to: Juniors and Seniors (Upper Division Experience)

Blessed Fr. Chaminade offers us a way to grow in personal and communal holiness by overcoming some of our biggest obstacles. This system of virtues highlights five silences which we will re-examine through a lens of mindfulness. These independent, one-hour PATH point eligible, upper division student engagement opportunities will individually examine each of these habits more deeply.

This fourth Marianist Mindfulness session uses Fr. Chaminade’s silence of passions to refocus on being mindful of pondering. Using a Marianist and Catholic spiritual lens, students will explore the concept of pondering as a productive transformation of energy that contributes to the common good. Student participants will be empowered to reflect upon and respond to challenging moments in transformative ways.

PLEASE NOTE: Space is limited to 36 students. Seats may not be reserved for others as it is first-come-first-serve and all participants are asked to wait outside of the room in an orderly and respectful fashion until a facilitator is present and ready for individuals to begin being seated. PATH credit will only be issued to those who remain for the duration of the event and complete a survey at the end of the event.
