AVIATE Alignment: COMMUNITY LIVING

This Event is only open to: First  Year Students

This event will be offered multiple times however students may only participate once for PATH credit. First Year students should check with their RA for their floor's registered date and time.

As part of the First Year Experience (FYE), first year students will have the opportunity to attend a presentation within their own living community by PAVE (Peers Advocating for Violence Education), a paraprofessional group of peer educators. As upperclassmen who understand the realities of living in the Student Neighborhood and being a student at UD, the PAVEs have real tips, helpful suggestions, and tools to help you make the best of your UD experience. You will consider bystander intervention, consent, neurobiology of trauma, victim blaming, how to support a friend who has experienced violence, and resources available on campus. For specific information regarding your community's Consent Culture training date, time, and location, please check with your RA!

PLEASE NOTE: PATH credit will only be issued to those who remain for the duration of the event.
