On Tuesday, October 27th the Alphas at the University of Dayton invite Black men across campus to participate in a Men In Suits March/Rally A social movement directed towards uplifting black men on campus, encourage student leadership, advocating for mental health care, and sharing collective stories. The purpose of this event is to provide a space for black men to be in community uplifting and encouraging each other through presentation and collective engagement.
At Kennedy Union field, the men in participation were hosted by speakers and performers covering these topics. Post-event, attendees had the opportunity to place their Federal Voters Ballot, and receive free Professional Headshots from Quinton Thomas. The essence of a Men In Suits March is that it provides a space for men to "Dress to Impress", which gives a feeling of upliftment as well as demonstrates a positive view of black men that challenge & eliminate stereotypes.

Fall 2019, Gamma Theta launches a new program at the University of Dayton addressing mental health in partnership with The University of Dayton Counseling Center Florah Igah . These two volunteer their time monthly to providing 30 minute 1 on 1 counseling sessions for black male students on campus. Ultimately, with the purpose of annihilating the stereotype, and providing a space for black men on campus to have a space for emotional expression and professional guidance

SP'20 Initiates The GambiT all finished the Spring 2020 Semester with GPA of a 3.0 or higher. Emmanuel Agyeman, the Quad of the Line, finished with the highest GPA receiving a 4.0 for the semester. They all demonstrated high scholastic tenacity amidst the COVID-19 transition. 06!!

Through the challenges of the National Pandemic, the Gamma Theta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. was able to successfully initiate 8 Brothers during Spring 2020 into the 74th House of Alpha. 7 brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. will sponsor 7 student's tickets to Black Action Through Unity's 3rd Annual Black Excellence Ball. These students are required to attend all of their first 12 days of classes in the Spring Semester. Students who attend will then enter a raffle to receive their BATU Ball ticket. Start the semester off strong, your attendance matters for academic excellence.
