February Updates!

Howdy everyone! We hope you've had a fabulous start to the semester, and are so excited for all the events we have planned! In honor of the month of ✨love✨, we're encouraging you to spend some time focusing on self-care and self-love. Whether you watch a movie, come to an event, or get some extra rest, February is the month to give yourself some extra love!

This month, we'll be holding a bouquet-making class and a Mr. GPhiO Infomational! You can scroll to read more about both of these events. As always, you can schedule a Siesta with a Swan at any time by clicking here!

Bouquet-Making!

Still in need of a Valentine's gift for your SO/friend/yourself? Come to our FREE bouquet-making class on Galentine's Day (February 13, 6-8pm). We'll have all of the flowers, ribbons, and other things needed to make a beautiful customized bouquet.

Upcoming Campus Ministry Events

In accordance with our goal of Cultural Awareness, we're promoting some upcoming Campus Ministry/Catholic LIFE events! Two of these events are PATH-eligible, and they all feature Bishop Mark J. Seitz, chairman of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops Committee on Migration and bishop of El Paso, Texas. Come out and learn about immigration, social justice, and faith!

Movie Recs

We can't let Groundhog Day pass by without recommending Groundhog Day! It's our Chapter President's favorite non-Christmas holiday movie! You can rent it on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, and some other sites for $4 or less. Post a photo on your Instagram story and tag us (@gphio_dayton) if you watch it!

Mr./Mx. GPhiO👀

We're inviting you to compete for the title of Mr./Mx. GPhiO! Mr./Mx. GPhiO is a talent/beauty pageant that seeks to find one student who exemplifies the goals and values of Gamma Phi Omega. The winner will receive a donation to their organization's philanthropy!

Any male-identifying or non-binary student may be sponsored by a registered student organization! We'll be hosting a Mr./Mx. GPhiO Informational later this month, so stay tuned for that!
