Work for Housing and Residence Life and Earn Learning in Action PATH Credit!
HRL is now recruiting students to work in multiple positions starting as early as this January!
Applications for the Desk Assistant position are currently open for a January 2025 start. This position is open to all students, including First Years so if you are looking for a job on campus, here is your chance!
By working a position, you are also eligible to submit your experience up to 4 times a month for January and February to earn PATH credit in the Learning in Action Track! To apply visit Handshake and search job #934573. Applications close November 3.
In addition to the DA position,HRL is now recruiting Resident Assistants (RAs) and Neighborhood Fellows (Fellows) to apply for mid-year hires (starting January 2025) as well as the 2025-2026 academic year.

October 29 - 8:00pm-9:00pm in the Marycrest Lobby - Join the Marycrest RA Staff for a night of Trick-Or-Treating fun and a chance to learn more about the opportunities to work in HRL!

October 30 - 7:00pm-8:00pm in the Campus South Conference Room - Join the South Quad/Adele/Caldwell RA team for an hour of games, snacks and information about working in HRL!
November 12 - 7:00pm-8:00 pm in the Marianist Lobby - Join the Marianist RA Team for Pies and Crafts and the chance to learn more about what it's like to work in HRL!
November 19 - 8:00pm-9:00pm in 343 East Stewart Gardens Lounge - Join the ESG RA staff for pizza and board games and to learn more about the opportunities to work in HRL!
November 13 - 6:00pm-7:30pm in 461 Kiefaber - Join the Neighborhood Team for Pizza and Puzzles and to talk more about the multiple job opportunities available in HRL!
KEY
(RR) Indicates that Registration is Required. Individuals placed on a Waitlist will be auto-promoted to the main list in the event that individuals cancel their registration. Additionally, students on the wait list may opt to go to the event still and form a line in the event that individuals "no show" and seats are available however this will be first-come, first-serve and at the discretion of the facilitators.
(1+) Indicates that the opportunity will be offered multiple times Events that are offered multiple times may only yield PATH credit once no matter how many times the student opts to attend.

Indicates that the opportunity is ongoing Events are offered during an extended window of time that students can opt to engage in according to their individual availability.
FYE Only, FYE, SYE, UDE
Indicates the student cohorts that are eligible to participate. Eligibility is based on Housing Classification, not Credit Hours. Students who attend events that they are not eligible for will not receive PATH credit and will have any PATH issued, removed, when discovered during routine PATH audits. FYE = First Year Students, SYE = Second Year Students, UDE = Juniors and Seniors

Important Notes about Timelines:
All October experiences must be submitted by October 31. All November experiences must be submitted by November 30. No exceptions will be made.
Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis. Those whose submissions are denied in advance of the end-of-month deadline, if submitted/reviewed early enough, may be notified and have the opportunity fo resubmission.
As a reminder, students are stronglyadvised to first review the AVIATE 101: Learning in Action resource that explains what qualifies and how to submit to ensure approval.

11/18 - Deadline for Partners to submit requests for December events 12/06 - Last Day to Earn Fall PATH 12/10 - Deadline to Verify Fall PATH 01/06 - Deadline for Partners to submit requests for January events 01/20 - Deadline for Partners to submit requests for February events 02/21 - Last Day to Earn Spring PATH 02/24 - Deadline to Verify Fall PATH
There are 14 PATH Badges but students are only elibigle to count 11 of them towards their actual earnings towards the Housing Assignments Process!

Concerns about missing PATH credit for Campus Partner-sponsored opportunities must be directed to the individual listed on the 1850 event page for the opportunity in question.
Concerns about missing PATH credit foropportunities facilitated by RAs/Fellows must be directed to the RA/Fellow who facilitated the opportunity in question.
