About Us

Tau Beta Pi is The Engineering Honors Society. We focus on Academics, Service, Networking, and Social Events. As a chapter, we have monthly member meetings with biweekly officer meetings. If members need help with their studies, we provide tutoring and other resources. We also help those in our school with academic help if necessary. We conduct service projects in the local community. We have hosted cookouts and have opportunities for students and professors to meet and network. We've had study parties to provide a much needed break during finals week. Our society's symbol is "the Bent," which provides support to railroad tressels. Our Public Creed is "Integrity and Excellence in Engineering." Members of Tau Beta Pi are referred to as "Tau Bates."
