AVIATE Alignment: INTERCULTURALISM

Who Should Attend: 
All UD students, faculty and staff, plus community members at large will benefit from this lecture. Racial tensions in the US and world still plague us. This lecture will help open dialogue on the subject in a new and enlightening way. 

Modern western education and theological education more specifically has been plagued with a destructive image that has driven its work of formation. That image is of a white self-sufficient man who embodies mastery, possession, and control. This lecture considers the problem of that image and explores an alternative vision that should drive the work of intellectual and moral formation.

PLEASE NOTE: Space may be limited and admission is not guaranteed. Seats may not be reserved for others as it is first-come-first-serve and all participants are asked to wait outside of the room in an orderly and respectful fashion until a facilitator is present and ready for individuals to begin being seated. PATH credit will only be issued to those who remain for the duration of the event.
