Career Services Online Module on Job Search Skills: Interviewing

AVIATE Alignment: AUTHORSHIP

This module focuses on interview preparation to include phone and Skype style interviews and how to research companies. Participants will have a clear understanding of how to prepare for interviews and gain access to "Big Interview," a unique practice tool. 

To earn one AVIATE PATH Credit for this module, the student must complete each section below AND pass the quiz with an 85%. Hoonuit tracks section completion for the module so be sure to complete each section. Also, there is no retake on the quiz, so check your answers before submitting your quiz. You are allowed to refer to the material for the answers.

1. Watch the "Introduction" Video in Section A
2. Watch the "Job Search: Top 10 Interviewing Mistakes" video in Section B
3. Read the article "Prepare for Your Next Job Interview With This Checklist" and "7 Tips for Researching Companies" in Section C 
4. Watch the "Phone Interview Etiquette" video in Section D
5. Watch the "Skype Interview Tips" video in Section E
6. Review the "Acing the Interview" infographic in Section F
7. Complete the "Big Interview" assignment in Section G. In this assignment, students will need to create a Big Interview account and submit a practice interview video.

PLEASE NOTE: To earn PATH credit for this module students must complete all components outlined above and receive a minimum quiz score of 85%. Participants will only have ONE attempt to achieve the required minimum score so please respond carefully, using as much time as you need!  PATH credit will not be issued until October 11.
