Developed by campus partners in the Center for Student Involvement, Center for Social Concern, Fitz Center for Leadership in Community, and Student Leadership programs, "Community Engagement at UD" is an online module available through the Student Government Association Isidore site.

To be added to the Isidore site:

  1. Find the "membership" button in the menu bar in the top left of your Isidore homepage.
  2. Click "joinable sites" and the click "join" next to Student Government Association.
  3. If you have already been added to the site, the module can be found by going to the PATH Modules tab.

This module focuses on helping students understand UD's vision for community engagement. This interactive module features video presentations, a look at community engagement and Marianist values, an exploration of inclusive community engagement, opportunities for reflection, and a knowledge check.

Intended Learning Outcomes:
As a result of attending this event, students will be able to...

  1. define community engagement on the scale of informed, involved, and engaged.
  2. explain at least two principles from the module they can put into practice in future community engagement activities.

PLEASE NOTE: Participation for this event will not be issued until the event has concluded. Please allow a minimum of one week following the conclusion of the event for PATH credit to be issued.
