The University of Dayton Mars Rover Team is going to Drumheller, Canada, from August 9th-12th, to attend the Canada International Rover Challenge, or CIRC. Universities from all across the world, such as Poland, the USA, and Canada, will be in attendance to compete in a variety of rover-related tasks, such as astronaut rescue, soil testing, and navigation. Ten members from the UD Mars Rover Team will make up the attendees of this competition and will travel by both van and air. 2-4 members will take on the responsibility of transporting the rover by van, and the other 6-8 members will fly into Drumheller before the event begins. We are excited to be attending the competition for the first time in Mars Rover Team history and ready to represent UD abroad!
