The event being attended is the Canada International Rover Challenge, which is a competition for universities to bring their mock-mars rovers and complete tasks. We will be competing in space-based tasks such as lunar lander repair, astronaut reconnaissance, and fuel rod replacement of a space shuttle. We expect to be competing against 20+ other institutions with a goal of beating our placement last year of 17th, which should be very achievable with our setup this year. The event will take place in Drumheller, Canada, from August 8th (Friday) to August 11th (Monday), 2025. We will be sending about 9 students in a van as we need to transport our rover, and about 3 students by plane. I, Paul Lachcik, will be in charge of logistics and ensuring lodging and food are all set up for students attending.
