The mission of the organization is to ensure that members can successfully create meaningful relationships with the Special Olympics athletes through events either on campus or off-campus with Special Olympics. Also, the hope is that members will grow in some aspect or another through working with the Special Olympics athletes.
The benefits for the student members, the university, and the campus community include having students, the university, and the campus community realize just how much there is to learn from these athletes, along with having a tremendous time with the athletes that will provide a fun, interactive, and enjoyable environment between students and Special Olympic Athletes.
