Details
The Interfraternity Council (IFC) is the governing body for five of UD's values-based fraternal organizations. The council aids the member fraternities in the areas of recruitment, academics, service, public relations, financial and educational programming, and risk management.
Our IFC Fraternities are:
Phi Kappa Psi
Phi Kappa Tau
Phi Sigma Kappa
Sigma Alpha Epsilon
Sigma Phi Epsilon
All University of Dayton students must meet the following requirements in order to be eligible to receive a bid and become initiated into a fraternity or sorority:
*have completed at least one semester of college (12 credit hours from any college - CCP and hours completed in HS do not apply)
*be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at the University of Dayton (at least a 12 credit course load during the semester you join)
*be in good disciplinary standing with the University
*have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (Most chapters have higher GPA requirements) -Transfer students without a UD cumulative GPA must submit a copy of their transcript from the institution where credits were earned, reflecting they have met the 2.5 GPA requirement to the Fraternity and Sorority Life staff in the Center of Student Involvement prior to receiving a bid/invitation from a chapter.
