About Us
Women of Remarkable Distinction (W.O.R.D.) is established to unite woman-identifying people of all different cultural and social backgrounds, both on our campus and within the greater Dayton area. Through service and leadership, W.O.R.D. seeks to build and strengthen relationships amongst women, ultimately fostering the well-being of the female spirit, interrogate stereotypes, and enhance the design of womanhood. W.O.R.D. seeks to serve as an advocate for social change among women and to serve as a voice of awareness, with an emphasis on the unique struggles of women of color.
