Building a Strong Community Through Faith:
I think a lot of college students begin searching for their faith once they get to college. Whether that comes in the form of continuing to practice their faith in the same ways, seeking a deeper understanding of their faith, or discovering faith for the first time, this is a crazy process, especially in the hectic and busy college environment.
The great thing about Cru and other faith-based organizations like it is that it comprises of people that are all searching for their faith in the same ways.
Whether it be through weekly Bible studies, fellowship meetings (CruNites), or worship events, Cru provides a support network and an avenue for people to find community amongst fellow Flyers that share a passion for growing together in their faith.
Cru has changed my life and given me a real, tangible drive to boldly pursue my faith every single day, and I’m confident that it can do the same for someone else!

What’s Your Story? Weekly LGBTQ+ Narrative Group
Exploring gender and sexuality identities often begins with a question. Many times fear or shame causes us to explore those questions alone. Finding reliable sources and reconciling complex identities is a lot to hold on our own - what if there was a better way? This spring we invite you to tell your own story through our weekly narrative group. Each week we will focus on a specific question(s) relating to LGBTQ+ identities, provide corresponding resources, and share our own stories with one another with the hope that by the end of the semester, you will have a better understanding of who you are. If you are looking to learn more, would like fresh resources, or simply want to become more articulate and confident in expressing your LGBTQ+ identity or allyship - join us! We encourage you to participate in all sessions, but the group will remain open throughout the semester if you can only make it to a few sessions.

Muslim Prayer Room
A fully functioning prayer room with Quran, Wudu area, and Women's area is in the Rike Center 205 and 207. Use your University of Dayton ID to have access to the Muslim Prayer room, seven days a week, 6:30am – 8:30pm. Enter using the main entrance with the ramp, across from Heritage Coffee. When the Rike Center offices are closed, this is the only door that will be available for key card entry.
Jummah
On Fridays at 1:30 pm students meet in the Rike Center, Rooms 205 (men) and 207 (women) for Jummah prayer.
