The Space Peoples Update - 9/2/2022

Happy Friday Everybody!!!


This is the first email from the space club (ie Astronautics Club). I hope to make these emails a weekly update (and some fun) for you all, and perhaps even make them useful.

 You are getting this email as you showed interest in the club at Up the Orgs or to an officer. We plan to hold our first meeting as soon as next week - so stay tuned!

In The News:

• This will be a brief overview of any cool stuff going on we've found. Feel free to correct anything I miss in the groupme or provide suggestions.

• NASA's Artemis I is scheduled to launch NET 2:17 EDT this Saturday, delayed from this past Monday due to an engine cooling issue (among other things). • Not exactly space-related, but Boom Supersonic released concept art of its new Overture airliner design over the summer. Whether or not it will ever fly is still up in the air, but hey, the pictures look darn cool! https://boomsupersonic.com/
