Phi Sigma Rho is a national women’s STEM sorority, and we work every day to build a better future.  One of our philanthropies is Blood Cancer United (BCU), which is dedicated to curing blood cancers and improving the quality of life for patients and their families.

We invite you to join us in raising awareness for blood cancer and to support BCU and all the work they do, which includes:

• Cutting edge research that improves our understanding of the disease  

• Removing financial barriers so patients can receive necessary therapies and treatments 

• Advocating for concise and thorough healthcare policies

• Support groups and additional resources for patients and families

The University of Dayton chapter of Phi Sigma Rho hosts Hopewalk annually, a 5K Walk/Run that benefits BCU.  Please consider sponsoring Hopewalk to build a better future for patients with blood cancer.  Hopewalk will be held at the University of Dayton on October 3rd, 2026.  In previous years, we have been able to donate over $2,000.00 to BCU thanks to our generous sponsors.  Our goal for this year is to raise $2,200.00, but we won’t be able to accomplish this without your help!
