About Us
Orpheus is the University of Dayton's written, student-produced literary and arts magazine. Founded in 1903, it is the university's oldest student organization. On the broadest level, the mission of Orpheus is to support all kinds of cultural and artistic endeavors in the University of Dayton undergraduate community. These can include anything from performances, readings, productions, and showings of various forms on campus to the publication of a literary/ arts magazine, which is our primary goal. Our magazine is published once a semester and its works may be reprinted or reproduced only with the permission of the author/artist.
