Brain Injury Support Groups
Our community partner Play4Payne has started two brain injury support groups! One group is for brain injury survivors, the other is for caregivers, and they are run in different rooms at the same time. The monthly meetings are at Central Christian Church on the last Monday of each month, from 6:30-7:30pm. Please reach out to Play4Payne@gmail.com with any questions.
Care Packs
Our community partner the Play4Payne Foundation has led the Care Pack Project. These backpacks contain resources chosen specifically for brain injury survivors, including a waiver to allow our organization to reach out to their families periodically and offer support. The backpacks have now been distributed to the following facilities: Kettering NeuroRehab & Balance Center, Miami Valley outpatient rehabilitation unit, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Wounded Warrior Project, Artemis Domestic Violence Center, the Brain Health Collective's Health & Lifestyle Program, Neuroscience Institute, and Dayton Children's Hospital.
