Experiential Learning Virtual Lab

AVIATE Alignment: AUTHORSHIP 

This Event is only open to: First Year and Sophomore students 

This event will be offered multiple times however students may only participate once for PATH credit. Additional opportunities will be available on the following date(s):

• 9/11 from 3:30-4:45pm
• 10/16 from 3:30-4:45pm
• 11/13 from 3:30-4:45pm
• 2/12 from 3:30-4:45pm 

During the Experiential Learning Virtual Lab you will have the opportunity to meet the Director of Experiential Learning and EL Student Ambassadors to learn about experiential learning at UD (including internships, education abroad, student employment, community-engaged learning, student organization leadership opportunities and more). EL Student Ambassadors will share their Experiential Learning Roadmap videos (made with Prezi Video) and facilitate discussion with event participants around their personal, academic, and professional interests and goals. Participants will break into small groups to begin creating a sketch of their own learning journey roadmaps, and they will have the opportunity to share and present their maps with peers.  Participants will learn valuable information about how to get engaged, and they will meet peer leaders who can offer guidance and mentorship. Participants will also learn how to use tools like Prezi video to showcase their learning experiences and accomplishments and tell their own unique stories. 
 

PLEASE NOTE: PATH credit will only be issued to those who remain for the duration of the event. In order to receive PATH credit students must meet the following guidelines: Be individually signed into Zoom via their authenticated UD Zoom account, have their video camera active for the duration of the session, and be fully engaged in the content throughout the event. ACEs and/or Hosts of the event will monitor videos to ensure all participants are actively engaged. For events that are capped and have registration, students who register for the event and no-show may be subject to penalty according to AVIATE's No-Show Policy. Please note, issuance of PATH credit may take up to one week.
