A Special Wish University of Dayton partners with the Dayton chapter of A Special Wish Foundation. A Special Wish is a nonprofit organization that has numerous chapters within Ohio. Their goal is to help enhance the quality of life for those children having a life-threatening disorder and grant their special wish. As a club affiliated with the Dayton chapter of the organization, we help the Dayton chapter in any way we can! To learn more about what we specifically do to help, keep scrolling down below.
A Special Wish Foundation- Dayton Chapter grants wishes for children and adolescents (birth through age 20) who have been diagnosed by a physician with a life threatening disorder.
- Volunteer at events held by the Dayton Chapter, like the annual Holiday Party they hold every December!
- Run a toy drive for the kids around Christmas time!
- Help deliver/ grant wishes to the kids
- Hot dog sale in October
- Takeovers at various restaurants around campus
To raise enough money to sponsor a kid and help grant their wish!
