As October comes to an end, we wanted to share some exciting progress our Build Team has been making so far this semester.
Our club has been working closely with the students in MEE 204 and MEE 438, robotics classes taught by our faculty advisor Dr. Timothy Reissman, to develop designs for the rover.
Several different designs have been created so far for all of the subsystems: suspension, drivetrain, chassis, robotic arm, and end effector. Check out the Rocker Bogie concept the suspension team is considering!
The robotic arm team has also been making a lot of progress so far this semester. Here are two designs they are working on currently!
All of our build team subteams have been doing great work and we hope to update you soon with each team's finalized designs. Structural analysis is being conducted on all of the different design options in order to pick the best one possible.
