Each member of UD Dance has the opportunity to perform at many different events throughout the academic year, as well as represent the university at a variety of different events on and off campus.
The tryout process will span three consecutive days, consisting of choreography, interviews, and performance evaluations.
Team Requirements
Must be a current undergraduate at the University of Dayton to try out. We look for dedicated and hard-working individuals who are excited to be a part of the team!
We DO NOT have required skills/technique to make the team, but we DO recommend and look for the following technique:
Turns
- Double pirouettes (right and left)
Jumps/Leaps
- Jete Leap (right and left)
- Firebird
- Toetouch
- Calypso
Tricks
- Kip Ups/Headspring
Kicks (right and left)
Clinics
We host one clinic each semester. These clinics are a great way to get a feel of our team and our style!
