College can be very stressful. This presentation/discussion will focus on most (and least) helpful coping strategies for sophomore year and beyond.
12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Come see our new location & meet the team! Various different presentations happening every 30 minutes so pick one or stay for all!
From 12-2, we will be having an open house for the Brook Center at ArtStreet. The building will be open, and students will be invited to walk around to check out the space. Every half hour, we will be having a different presentation in Studio B:

Are you seeking a job on or off-campus? This session will cover the many ways Career Services supports sophomores, including using Handshake to apply for jobs on-campus as well as off-campus for internships and cooperative education. Questions regarding clarifying major, vocation, and career direction are also most welcome!
2:15 PM – 3:15 PM
Looking to jump start your leadership journey during your second year? Join the Center for Student Involvement to look at leadership at UD, your leadership journey to this point, and where you want your journey to go. This session will also feature one on one involvement coaching for students who are interested in finding new opportunities on campus!
5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
UDCR can't wait to welcome YOU back to campus with our Volleypalooza Tournament!
This will be unlike any volleyball tournament you've ever seen. Teams will play on the court, in the pool, off the walls, in the sand, and maybe.... in the dark!? In addition, there will be prizes, raffles, and music to make this night unforgettable! Sophomore year is the ideal time to start planning for your education broad experience. If you are interested in a semester abroad, or a summer program with our faculty, now is the time to move towards solidifying those plans.
Come to drop-in advising to learn more about program offerings, take next steps on your application, or work with an advisor to confirm your plans.
Find us, August 27th between the hours of 1 and 4 pm in Alumni Hall, Room 016, to start your take off towards a global education. Peer and professional advisors will be available to help you take the next step, no matter where you are in the process.
