Our mission as UD's first SPJ chapter is to create a space for student journalists to learn, practice, and master industry skills that will prepare them for their careers after graduation. We strive to provide Flyers with an organization that defends the First Amendment and supports those who rely on it.
We pass along opportunities for events, workshops, internships, and jobs for our members to get connected within the journalism industry. SPJ has resources to teach you any and every skill needed to suceed in journalism, including AP style! We defend the First Amendment and uphold ethical journalistic practices.
