About Us

The mission of the Pre-Veterinary Club is to support and inspire students pursuing a career in veterinary medicine by providing access to educational resources, hands-on experiences, and professional development opportunities. Through guest speakers, application guidance, volunteering and shadowing opportunities, and a strong community of peers, the club aims to foster a collaborative environment where members can explore their interests, build meaningful connections, and confidently prepare for their future in veterinary medicine.

Member Benefits

Joining the Pre-Veterinary Club offers a variety of benefits for students pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. Members receive support with the VMCAS application process, including guidance on personal statements, logging experiences, and preparing for interviews. The club also brings in guest speakers from different areas of veterinary medicine—such as practicing veterinarians, admissions representatives, and current vet students—offering valuable insight into the field. In addition, members have access to volunteering and shadowing opportunities to gain real-world experience. Most importantly, the club fosters a welcoming and supportive community of fellow pre-vet students, providing a space for connection, collaboration, and shared passion.
