About Us

The Multi-Ethnic Engineers Program (MEP) is a diverse and inclusive community committed to the success of undergraduate multi-ethnic students underrepresented in engineering at UD* by fostering a sense of belonging, building engineering identity, and promoting self-efficacy. MEP accomplishes this through promoting experiential learning opportunities, guiding vocational discernment, and assisting with personal and professional development. We welcome all students with a variety of backgrounds and experiences to be part of the MEP community, including, but not limited to, individuals from historically underserved and underrepresented populations, female, racial, and ethnic groups (African-American/ Black, Hispanic/Latinx, Pacific Islander, Native American, and Native Alaskan) historically underrepresented in engineering, veterans, LGBTQ+, and students from low socioeconomic backgrounds.
