RECkids Camp Counselors are responsible for providing supervision while ensuring a safe environment and positive camp experience for all campers. Counselors should have a passion for working with children and foster an environment for children that promotes a love for learning, growing, and playing. Counselors are expected to assist in activity planning and preparation, participate in staff meetings, and facilitate daily camp activities. Benefits of the position include experience in curriculum development related to educational and camp programs for school-age children, ages 6 to 12; the production of tangible documents to share with future employers; networking opportunities; and experience in small and large group facilitation, program design, behavioral management, and experiential education best practices. Reckids Camp is a 9-week camp, taking place 31st May - 5th August.
