This engagement opportunity is brought to you by the Health Equity Fellows (HEF) Program within the Fitz Center for Leadership in Community. This event will provide students an opportunity to explore what health equity means, Ohio Public Health data surrounding health, and how to become socially responsible to ensure health equity is upheld. Participants will end the module reflecting on the social determinants on their own health and highlight partners engaging in health equity efforts in Dayton. PATH credit will only be awarded to students who answer questions thoroughly and accurately. Not meeting requirements means you will NOT receive PATH credit.

Intended Learning Outcomes:
As a result of attending this event, students will be able to...
- define health equity and apply such concepts in the local Dayton community
- develop an action step to be socially responsible to advance health equity
- identify the social determinants of health and its impact on healthcare
PLEASE NOTE: Participation for this event will not be issued until the event has concluded. Please allow a minimum of one week following the conclusion of the event for PATH credit to be issued.
