To be Asian [American]: 'The Farewell' Screening and Discussion

"This title will be used to discuss the Asian American identity through film, as "The Farewell" intimately and authentically portrays the Chinese American experience. This movie demonstrates the struggles of having a Chinese and American identity and it carefully examines the feeling of being a part of two worlds but feeling excluded at the same time. The showing of this title will be under the SGA Campus Unity committee, through representation of the Asian American Association at UD. This event is not PATH eligible and open to the entirety of undergraduate students. "
